Did you know that hundreds of millions of white board markers are thrown out by schools, universities and other learning institutions each year all over the world? Did you know most markers in circulation only work for 2-3 days and depreciate much while in storage?

When the founders of Turraco Industrials learnt about this, it sparked the idea of the refillable whiteboard marker pen. That idea turned into Turraco, a medium size business venture between Beninese and Nigerian businesses based in Cotonou and Lagos, serving customers all around the world.

Turraco offer the best quality whiteboard markers in the marketplace – for example, our Albatross White Board marker's nibs are in fact double sided so they last for many refills, and twice as long! On top of that, because they are refillable, they cost less.

• Refillable: This was our original idea. What we found is that disposable whiteboard markers costs more and are always not enough.
• Colorful: We figured people wanted brighter colors to use. Albatross white board markers are colorful and bright. They don’t stain boards and are easily erasable. The markers and ink refills comes in four bright colors: Black, Blue, Green and Red. The ink volume is 3 times the content of the presently circulated white board markers in the market place.
• Quality & Affordability: Refilling marker pens means they need to last a lot longer. The nibs of the markers are strong and endure longer usage. Before we released the product, we did extensive product trials in schools and centers of higher learning, and based on test results, improved our product further. Most importantly, with the superior quality of our markers, it is also cost-effective and presently the cheapest in the marker compared to its value and its usage duration.
• Health and safety:  Did you know that many white board markers' inks contain Xylene so they stick better to the white board but are harmful to health? Xylene is a really nasty chemical, and we decided it was better for the health of our customers if we steered well clear of it. All Albatross dry-erase markers contain no xylene or other Harmful chemicals.
